Following up from memory.
- Reminders sent by memory, or not at all
- Check-ins after the window has closed
- The same nudge sent twice
- Deadlines invented to create urgency

Use this Linkar recipe for an eligible Instagram offer follow up. Share the requested information, schedule a short check-in, and test skipping behaviour.

Helpful DM replies
This recipe starts with an incoming offer request and adds a short timed check-in to a supported DM flow.
The follow-up should offer help with the original request. Delivery depends on messaging eligibility and opt-out status at the scheduled time. A configured delay is not a permission to contact someone after the supported window closes.
Recipe in 3 steps
Replace the sample copy and links, then test the supported journey in your own account.
Use an incoming DM keyword and a maintained destination. Make the first message useful without relying on the later nudge.
Choose a sensible delay within the intended journey. Offer help, avoid false urgency, and keep any destination consistent with the first reply.
Review the scheduled follow-up in a test conversation. Check opt-out and closed-window cases before relying on the reminder in a live campaign.
Example conversation
Follow one request from the moment it arrives to the step after the reply.

Why it helps
Prepared answers for the questions you already know, and a clear route to your team for the rest.
Reference the offer already shared. The person should understand why the check-in appears in the same conversation.
A person may opt out or the window may close. Treat a skipped reminder as expected behaviour when delivery is no longer eligible.
Supported channels
Linkar connects to Instagram professional accounts and Facebook Pages. What an automation can do depends on the channel and the account you connect.
An Instagram professional account, either Business or Creator.
Private replies to comments and supported conversation journeys. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported.
A Facebook Page you are authorised to manage.
Replies are posted publicly under comments on your Page posts, so everyone reading the thread sees the answer.
Before you switch it on
Do not stack reminders merely because the builder accepts a delay. Review whether people reply or ask to stop, and remove the follow-up if it adds pressure without helping. Keep actual deadlines on the offer page. A private comment reply alone should not be treated as permission for ongoing DM reminders.
Campaign notes
Use the words people actually send, then choose a matching mode that suits the request. An exact campaign code and a broader question keyword serve different purposes. Test an expected request, a longer sentence, and an unrelated message. Review other active flows so the same incoming question does not produce several competing answers.
Prepared replies should answer known questions with information you maintain. They are not a reason to improvise product claims or make custom commitments. Leave a clear route to your team and respect the supported messaging window. If the destination changes, update and retest the reply before the next campaign.
Short answers about accounts, plans and setup. If your question is not covered here, our support team can help.
A scheduling option does not override messaging eligibility. Linkar checks the supported window and opt-out status before delivery; a later ineligible reminder is skipped.
Connect an Instagram professional account, either Business or Creator. Check the capabilities available to that account and use a supported incoming interaction. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported for these automation journeys.
