Campaign insights

Know what happened after each reply.

You may know what to send without knowing the best way to introduce it.

Linkar’s supported reply variants let you compare wording within a campaign. Keep the offer and destination consistent while testing the introduction or call to action. Review the available variant performance with enough activity to judge it; a few early clicks do not establish a reliable winner.

3 step process

From activity to a clear next step.

Start with one clear request. Build the answer around the person who sent it.

  1. Choose one variable

Write two versions of the supported opening or delivery message. Keep both concise, and make the difference clear enough to answer a practical copy question.

  2. Check both journeys

Preview every version with the same link and eligibility conditions. Confirm that one variant is not missing a button or an essential instruction.

  3. Review before choosing

Allow the campaign to collect a useful sample and inspect the available variant results. Prefer a clear, relevant message when the evidence is inconclusive.

Before you start

What you need to start

Four things and no developer. With these ready, you can build this workflow and test it from another account.

Setup checklist

Instagram
  • An Instagram professional account

Business or Creator. Personal Instagram accounts are not supported.

  • One automation to review

Plus your destination’s own records for purchases or bookings.

  • The free plan to start

5 automations and 1,000 messages a month. Features and limits depend on the plan.

  • No code

Choose the interaction, write the reply, and test it from another account.

Why it helps

Evidence first, then the next change.

Read what happened after each reply, one stage at a time.

  1. Isolate a useful question

Test whether a direct resource message or a short context-setting message helps people continue. Changing the offer, link, and wording together makes the result hard to interpret.

  2. Keep the promise consistent

Every variant should fulfil the same caption. A test is not a reason to send some people a different resource from the one they requested.

  3. Read evidence carefully

Use available delivery and interaction signals. Small samples, uneven traffic, and different publication times can make an apparent difference less meaningful.

Before you switch it on

Do not declare a winner too early

A one-click difference can come from chance or the people who happened to see the post first. Decide what signal matters before launching the comparison. Review enough activity to make the result useful, and keep a record of the versions tested. Variant support depends on the automation type; use the options shown by your builder.

Campaign notes

Read each stage on its own terms

  • A matching interaction, a delivered message, and a tracked visit are different observations. Review individual automations over comparable time periods and investigate delivery issues before treating missing activity as low interest. Changes in post reach, offer timing, and destinations can affect results independently of the reply’s wording.

  • Use the external destination’s records for purchases, confirmed bookings, and enrolments. For reply experiments, change one variable and allow enough activity to make the comparison useful. A small sample or one extra click does not prove a universal winner. Keep campaign notes so your team can explain what changed and what the evidence actually shows.

Questions, answered.

Will Linkar automatically prove one message is best?

Variant performance helps you compare observed behaviour. It does not guarantee statistical significance or a universal winner. Audience, timing, and campaign purpose matter, and an inconclusive test is a reasonable result.

Do I need to write code?

No. Use Linkar’s supported builder options to choose the interaction, write your messages, and configure the next steps. Supply your own destinations and test the full journey. If you need help with an account or delivery issue, contact support.
